Coloring Computing
Coloring Computing is an educational computer science activity book that introduces computer science (CS) through beautiful and interactive illustrations! The book is available at no cost to print and does not require the usage of a computer to learn the concepts.
This work creatively teaches readers different applications of CS as well as concepts including variables; loops; conditions; data structures including linked-lists, arrays, graphs, queues, and stacks; searching and sorting algorithms; and recursion.
By creating an accessible resource that presents CS as a collaborative, creative, and positively impactful discipline, we hope to inspire people of all backgrounds to become engaged. Through the James Graham Brown Foundation, 1,900 copies of the book are being freely distributed to rural communities in Kentucky who are impacted by the digital divide.
